A285 GR.A Boiler steel plate Description :
The steel plate under ASTM A285 ranges in three grades, A, B and C, most common use is ASTM A285 Grade C plates.
Which shall be made by killed, semi-killed, capped or rimmed steel practices at manufacturer's option.
Thickness: 6MM to 300MM,
Width: 1500mm to 4050mm,
Length: 3000mm to 15000mm
Carbon Equivalent: Ceq = 【C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15】%

Testing and retesting methods, procedures, dimension tolerance, mass, quality and repair defects, marking, loading and ordering information shall comply with A20/A20M.In additional to basic requirements, certain supplementary requirements are available.
Coils are excluded from A285 until they have been cutted to plate.

Packaging & shipping
Packaging and loading:
Packaging: According to customers' needs, use wrapping paper. If the transportation period exceeds 10 days or encounters special climate, we will use waterproof packaging and add plastic film to prevent moisture, water and rust.
Loading: We use the wooden pallet,triangular wood to fix the coil,and the steel wire rope to hold on the both side. That can prevent from the crush injury effectively.
